Discretion is the whole point of Rehung, and that extends to how we handle your information. This page says everything there is to say, in plain English.

What we collect, and why

When you enquire through our website, call, or email, we receive the details you give us — typically your name, contact details, postcode, and a description of what you'd like to sell. We use these solely to arrange and carry out your collection, and to account to you for any consignment sales. Enquiry forms are delivered to us by FormSubmit, a form relay service, which passes your message to our inbox.

What we never do

We don't run mailing lists. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing. We never photograph your home, name you in a listing, or disclose where any garment came from. When we sell an item, no trace of its previous owner accompanies it.

Advertising measurement

This website uses a Nextdoor advertising pixel — a small piece of code that tells us, in aggregate, whether our local advertising is working (for example, how many people who saw an advert went on to visit the site or send an enquiry). It involves a cookie set by Nextdoor. It does not give us access to your Nextdoor account or identity. If you prefer not to be measured, most browsers let you block third-party cookies, and this site works fully with them blocked.

How long we keep things

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to arrange your collection and answer any follow-up. If you become a consignment client, we keep your agreement, inventory, and statements for six years, as required for tax records. You can ask us to delete anything beyond that at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's used. Just ask — hello@rehung.uk — and we'll deal with it promptly and without fuss. If you're ever unhappy with our answer, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
